This is a sleeve tattoo design I did for a fellow artist I met at an art show earlier this year. She wanted to dedicate half an arm to the Stanley Kubrick masterpeice "A CLOCKWORK ORANGE"---lucky for me that I was a fan of the film and got to work on this AND got paid to do it.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. That sounds odd. I'll explain. While people expound on his brilliance for creating a slang language for the characters, it's really just Russian in English letters. For example, in this tattoo, you have "milk" written three times. And I'm a Russian major, so I could understand the book much better than many people.
I think my favorite part of this is the right side, the almost-triangle, though I haven't seen the movie, so much of this is different from the book.
