NUMBER 1 HALLOWEEN

Halloween is fast approaching which means, I'm in a scary movie frame of mind. When I was doing my poster tributes to movies there was a long list of films I wanted to do but they were very time consuming. But then I got the idea of just doing one still frame from the movie. They wouldn't take as long and they would be kind of fun to do. So that's my new thing, 100 stills from my top 100 horror films of all time list.

The drawings have their own album and you can now check out drawing number one---my number 1 horror film ever, John Carpenter's 1978 Original classic slasher flick, "HALLOWEEN". The still I went with was the scene where The Shape (aka Michael Myers aka Tommy Lee Wallace) finds Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) hiding in the closet upstairs and quickly busts through the doors. The drawing is completely original, I didn't just paint over the original still. This was a lot of fun and I look forward to getting started on the next. Most likely I won't make it to 100 (I'll be lucky to make it to 10) but we'll have fun seeing.
